Wow... been just a little long since my last posting huh? Well, I have a ton of personal things going on that needs my attention. Yes, A beautiful wonderfull woman has entered my life if you can believe it and I've been devoting most of my time cleaning and removing crap from the apartment for her arrival. She's pretty awesome. Smart, cute, funny, everything a guy could ask for! She' coming for visit this week and staying all next week and I am SO excited about it. There is so much I would like to do with her here in knoxville but with just a week we'll probably pick the best things to do. I plan on taking her to the Tennessee Valley Fair which looks like fun and of course gotta go get the best pizza in town at Barley's. Would like to go to pigeon forge area but probably not enough time since I have to work during the day and the weekends she is here we'll be out of town to some degree.

I've been selling and selling on ebay and have had pretty good success. A couple items went for WAY more than I thought and I'm talking alot more! Just stuff that I've accumulated over the years and no point of me keeping it. Like star wars figures... they're gone along with alot of other diplay type items and so called collectibles but I still have alot to go. Bleh.

Has anyone used McKay's book, cd, dvd, game exchange before? I was trying to sell computer games and xbox games at work first and had some success but I figured it would be too much trouble to put on ebay so I decided to see what I could get for them at McKay's. I had 10 xbox games and 12 computer games. Most about a year or two old and several 3+ years old and I was offerred $157 check or $187 trading credit. I chose check and deposited that bastard quickly! That was pretty damn sweet I thought so the next week I thought I'd get rid of some books, mostly computer books. Well... I had 10+ computer books and about 5 or 6 star wars books and a book I got from a book club brand new but I had a double it. I went on Saturday morning about 11am and waited an hour for them to evaluate my books for a measly $24 !!! I was pissed this time. They don't give crap for books. What really surpised me was that they didn't take about 3-4 books and 1 was less than a year old and fairly popular computer book. This time I should've put them on ebay cause I know I could have gotten $10 a piece for some of them as I had researched putting them on ebay before hand. Anyway... bring you computer games and video games to Mckay's but not books! While I was waiting I decided to look around. I didn't really intend to buy anything but I just wanted to check stuff out. Their prices are really not worth it. Even books are expensive I though. Most used dvd's are $12+ even crappy ones. Video games for xbox and ps2 are outrageous and most computer games are scary. OH, this is funny as hell... I was trying to find if any of my games I traded in had made it to the floor yet and noticed one of my games in the computer section 007:Nightfire. They were trying to sell it for $14.95 Used!!! When you can get it NEW for $9.99 now! Some serious price gouging there. Same thing with some other items... $17 for games that you can buy new at $19. What do you think I'm going to do? Buy the new one, Duh? You can find some deals... I stumbled upon Be Cool dvd for $10.95 which is good considering it's fairly new. There was one I almost died laughing at.... Gigli DVD for over $10!!! People didn't pay $8 to see it in the theatres, what makes you think they'll pay $10? Good Gosh! For the most part I would avoid buying too much there, you're not getting that great of a deal and in some cases NO deal at all as you're paying more or close to new price. Just a bit of warning... sift through items well before deciding to buy. I haven't even talked about their cd's... Don't even bother. They had Motley Crue's Red, White and Crue album for like either $17 or $22, I can't remember exactly but I know it was more that brand new price! CD's were overpriced worse than books, games and dvd's combined. Really. $10+ for used cd's when you can get most new for about $14-17. Anyway... You can find deals there and they give good cash for games but just be carefull and research before you buy or trade.

Oh well... that's it for now. I'll try and post more than once in two months :)

As I was about to goto bed after a wonderful conversation with a wonderfull person I saw a news snippet about James Doohan passing away at the age of 85. Better known as Scotty from Star Trek. Science Fiction has lost an Icon but the immortal words of "Beem me Up Scotty" will survive in the Classic Star Trek series and Movies. James was probably the most friendly of the cast as he took great pleasure talking to fans and just embracing us Geeks who love the show. He will be remembered greatly and his ashes are to be rocketed into space, the final frontier. StarTrekc.comRemembers him.

Thanks for the amazing Ride Scotty!

Had a blast Friday night at The Roxy here in K-Town. My boss won a happy hour party and invited everybody in the world as she could bring anybody she wanted. It was alot of fun. Service was horrendess though. Like 3-4 waitresses and 6 bouncers twiddling their thumbs. After happy hour (8-10) prices went back to normal... fucking $5.50 for a jack and coke??? This is knoxville people. No all night beer specials which sucked so $3 miller lights.... The apetizers were very good though. Chips and salsa, some steak strips and potato wedges. My boss had ordered something different but instead they brought us two servings of the potato wedges and of course trying to track down somebody to complain was not eve an option. I had to cheat a little on my low carb diet as I felt obligated to eat some. Didn't have too many though. Got back home and apparently I send an e-mail to my close friends asking advice about this sweet chick I've been talking to online(yes she's real, haha). My heart tells me one thing but my brain is going in 1,000 directions about the whole thing. I don't know? We compliment each other so well, it just feels right. eeeh, enough of that.

Work going ok. Finally got a win for our side! An internal candidate was promoted from within to a good position. The consultant didn't get his way for a change and we are cheeing for joy! LOL and he's all mad. Supposedly he got smacked down which I still don't believe.

Trying to work on credit cards now since I've got car paid off!! Wohoo!. I almost forgot about it when I starting paying bills this month. I was like how do I have an extra couple hundred??? what's going on? and then it clicked :) I also cancelled a ton of stupid montly services I was doing. I don't know why I spend so much. Force of habit I guess. I'm hoping I start seeing a difference soon. Stupid credit cards! I'm just gonna try and get them one by one... yeah, there are many.

Oh well, not much else going on. cya

So... Everything was going ok today till I got home and noticed something missing on my trunk. I had two car magnets on the back of my car. Well, they're GONE! I don't know when it happened cause I just noticed it. The had been like almost melted on so I should have seen an outline of them but I didn't so I guess they've been gone a while. One was a yellow support our troops ribbon magnet and the other was an american flag ribbon magnet. What kind of fucking loser would steel and american flag. That's basically what it was in my mind. What the hell? This kind of stuff always happens to. Why do I always get picked on like that? That's so wrong. No respect for property or our country. You can fucking leave whomever you are! GET OUT!

I've already replaced them with another yellow support our troops and a statue of liberty ribbon I found at wally world. These were at least cheaper. The first ones I had were $5 a piece.

Having a pretty good time here in chicago. Went to The Tast of Chicago thursday and ate like a pig... ate too fast actually and got a tummy ache but still went back for more! :) Good stuff. Went to cubs game yesterday and had a good time! Even though my cubbies lost it's always fun at the ole ballpark. Me and Dad sat together while my other uncle's and cousin sat on the other side as we had 4 and 2 together. Got two new cub shirts. One my uncle got for me as a belated birthday present. It's awesome. I've wanted one for a while, it's one of those hawaiian type shirts but with a cubs theme. It's cool! I also got a green cubs shirt, I thought that was kinda neat, just a plain t-shirt but it looks good. I also got a Ryne Sandberg Bobblehead and they threw 2 more in for free, not sandberg but others they were trying to get rid of :) I'll take em. I did get one more item for a special someone. Nothing special but just a little cute gift. Speaking of that special someone, we have only been able to exchange e-mails since I'm on vacation as I can't really be on AIM with my connection. I guess I could but I'm hear with family and need to be socialable with family. I continue to grow more and more fond of her and see myself falling for her hard and fast. She is everything I am looking for in a life mate. Smart, cute, funny, sexy, girlie, etc, etc. I keep going on and on. I can't wait till have the chance to be together. Unfortunatley there are circumstances standing in our way to be free and happy but she working hard to move forward and relieve herself of some of those cirumstances. As far as I'm concerned she take as long as she wants cause I'm not going anywhere. This one is mine and worth the wait. One thing I've always believed in is fate and destiny. Everything that has happened to each of us has only been preparing us to meet and find each other. Well, we have found each other and I'm letting go.

Oh well.... Family is having a big outing today, not sure what tomorrow holds or monday but I'm sure we'll be eating and drinking somewhere :)

Saw a couple movies this weekend. Land of the Dead and Batman Begins! Both really good movies. I'm normally not a horror fan but I'm starting to enjoy them more and more. George Romero's films really aren't scary cause they're not supposed to be as snapper who joined us from JC explained to me. He went on the describe the previous "xxxx of the dead" movies and I've already put them in my netflix queue and should be enjoying them shortly! Batman Begins was a very good movie. Batman with a story! No flashy color action scenes, just a good ole fashion story with dialogue! I hight recommend it. Good stuff.

Not much else going on. Going to chicago for the 4th of july weekend for sevearl activities and will have a good time away from the office and life! :)

Work is a little better. Our VP told my boss and now I know that he wants our internal candidate to get the promotion he so rightly deserves. I'll believe it when I see it but it would be the right choice for a change. One of our best employees had his last day in knoxville friday and we gave him a good send off I think. He will be sorely missed as he was one of the few that stood up to our consultant that is really the CIO of our company. It's really sad, Our VP did something really stupid and pissed off somebody in our group and he was fighting mad, he doesn't mad, he doesn't swear and many thought we were in the twilight zone when we heard the words that came out of him... basically his job was threatened and like anybody he didn't take too kindly to that so he went to CIO and again got the run around. CIO said after asking employee what he should do that He didn't make any decision without talking to our consultant! This is how worthless our CIO is! Can't even make solve a personnel issue without talking to a consultant. Makes my stomach sick. Oh well.. till next time.

Well my plans tonight sucked some major balls damnit! I had planned to go see Raiders of the Lost Ark at the new Pinnacle theatre. After I got home from work I took care of a few things and then headed on down the Turkey Creek, the first bad sign was that Lovell Road exit was backed up nearly to the interstate, and everybody turning left. So I go right and turn around at the waffle house :) That was too much better so I made a sharp turn and got back on the interstate and got off at campbell station where it was much less crowded. Still a little backed up but not too bad. I get to theatre and it is JAMMED PACK! I parked in the auxillary parking lot which still hadn't had it's final paving so I smacked a manhole cover good, goodbye shocks. I made my way towards the theatre and saw a massive crowd standing around and thought oh hell, that can't be the line for tickets... Fortunately it wasn't but when I took a look at the showtimes and movies I saw that almost all the $1.00 movies scheduled were already sold out!! Including Raiders(all showings) Man was I pissed. Fuck a duck! Then I figure what the hell, I'll go in and get some $1.00 hot dogs. NOPE! One look and I turned right back around. We have 16 concession stations in the theatre and there was a line at everyone of them at least 20 people deep! Supposedly the theatre can accomadate 4200 people at once. Sure seemed like they were all in line for hot dogs :) Anyway... I tried to avoid all the District Manager and other corporate employees as I moved towards the exit and made my way back home. So instead I've been cleaning up a little tonight again. Still gradually trying to trim down the material items and junk I've saved over the years. I'm making progress.

On a lighter note I'm really enjoying my conversations online with a special temptress. She's very sweet and nice but has that devilish side to her that very exciting. We talked, or rather she talked and I listened on the phone the other night and she has a very nice voice and I really didn't expect that. I thought it would be some toad on the other end but I'm glad I was wrong. I wish her situation were different cause I think we could have some explosive times together. I know this probably corny to some but what I really enjoyed was listening to her talk to her son and little baby girl. She's such a sweet talking mommy. Make me think about starting a family myself cause I do want kids, but I need to find a woman gullable enough to spend the rest of her life with me..... You'd think that'd be the easy part?

Oh well... Till next time. Exactly one week till I'm chicago for a little RnR 4th of July celebration! Cya
