Check this article out. Posted on slashdot.org about the FCC and the future of media/internet/broadband.... My worst fears are becomming true. Regulating the internet through who you get your access from.... Read the whole thing... it's good.

Well, I guess two annoyance free days were too much to ask for. I'll be the first to admit that computer guys including myself are Anal about their computers but the DMF bring Analism to a whole new level. He's so stupid.... We're trying to get an inventory program going and he's installed the thing about ten different times and every time changes what we want in it, the names of the fields I mean. Like Barcode Number, or ID number, PICK ONE! He hasn't read the manual so he doesn't really know how it works and he doesn't understand databases and he's just deleting everything he doesn't want.... you can't do that with databases... things are tied together. Now he wants to try and modify the database because there are too many fields that we won't use? Ok, just don't use them? There are only 3 of us going to use the program... I think we can figure it out? DMF!!!!

Anyway, Here's an example of the Star wars stuff I'm looking for. I lost this auction Damnit!!! I really wanted this item to, I have a similiar item from Episode I, Same thing but with Wato and Yoda and Anakin... it's sweeet! So, if anybody has friends at wally world or K-mart.... ask em snag something for me :)

I HATE Wire Ties!!! Today or yesterday now... the DMF decided it was time to Wire Tie every damn power cord, video cable, printer cable, serial cable, etc... So he took his padawan learner(poor soul) and gave him the task of dividing up the cables... I felt for him today, he has no idea what to divide out and why cause he doesn't know computers, yet was hired as a parts technician? Back to wire ties, I don't know why but I just like rubber bands better... you don't have to search for a damn knife or pair of wire cutters every time you need a cable... That's going to get old real quick! Yeah, I know.. Lame rant but it's only monday!

A sad day in the music industry.... Napster filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy :( You all remember Napster don't you? The file sharing program that brought p2p to new levels.... until Lars Ulrich of Metallica started whinning that everybody was downloading their old music and not buying the new Load or Reload of CRAP!!! Good job Lars and the RIAA!! You've really stopped music piracy haven't you? I hope you choke on your own pool of liberalism! Is that even a word? Now there are plenty of P2P file sharing programs(Limewire, Grokster, WinMX, Xolox, FreeWire) running on the Gnutella network(which you can't shut down!) and the OpenNap protocol.... Thanks guys! :) Yeah, Yeah... I know, Buy my music and don't download... eh whatever!! Why have things like CD's and Video games stayed at the same price or gone up for the last decade? It costs less than .25 cents to press a CD for crying out loud. What upsets me even more is the music industry admits they don't make money selling CD's... it's all made when a band goes on tour, so why don't they just give their music away instead?
