Well, a whole NINE days into the war and according to the media it should have been over already??? Apparently nobody has every heard of World War I, World War II, Korean War(Not Police act or whatever), Vietnam, and so on and so forth. I am appauled by the lack of support from the media and the rest of the world. Where is your War book does it say we have to win in less than a week or it means we didn't plan it right? It's a fucking war people! Strategies and objectives and targets change every minute but the overall scheme of things doesn't. We were within 50 miles of Baghdad in less than 7 days. That is an amazing accomplishment for ground troops, and we're not talking about billy bob and joe bob in their pickup trecking along the sand... no we're talking about 100's of vehicles. I think what were doing is a great plan so far. There is no "Fierce" battles as the papers and network television put it. The World Media coverage is playing into exactly how saddam wants to fight this war, through propaganda. The media is taking the word of a man (Saddam) Who has killed over 250,000 of his own people and showing every civilian death it can on tv? Right now I believe it's something like under 100 according to U.S. and like 300+ according to Saddam. Unfortunately it's a part of war and the U.S. has been extremely conservative about bombing civilian installation, especially in baghdad but the gloves are starting to come off and I'm glad. Nobody has underestimated the Iraqi people, the only thing I believe we under estimated was their communication capabilities. They obviously have put some sort of communication in place or had pre-deterimed plans for all this "Gurella" warfare. Well... I have much more to say but I'm so frustrated I can't bring my thoughts together right now... More Later.

Stupid Fucking News Sentinel! Today's sunday paper featured the picture of smoke on the horizon of baghdad from the Oil trenches that SADDAM SET FIRE TO!! Guess what the fucking caption was?

"Columns of smoke from burning oil and fires set by earlier bombardments by U.S.-led forces rise on the horizon of baghdad,Iraq, on Saturday."

Could they have gotten any more fucking wrong! Jezus H tap danzin christ the media sucks! Email the editor and let them know!
