Oh yeah... forgot to mention. I got to see a screenig of Steve Martin's upcoming movie Cheaper By the Dozen coming out on Christmas Day I believe. Classic Steve Martin! Really great movie. You kinda see how everything is going to play out but it's a fun ride watching it happen. Simple Easy Plot line... 12 is their lucky number. With 12 kids both Parents have given up their dreams for the big family but now that things are a little more settled the dream jobs become available and you see the struggle to hold the family together. Some really good prank scenes with Ashton Kutcher! Go see it!

Wow. Lot's to talk about since it's been a while since last blog.

First, Tis the season! My favorite time of the year. I am of course traditional and No shopping or christmas music till day after thanksgiving. Went out day after thanksgiving and it was pretty packed but Saturday and Sunday weren't that bad. I am very dissappointed in the Holiday selections this year. Walmart, Kmart, Target, and Lowes have very little this year to offer for Holiday items. For instance, Lights! What happened to the mulit-function lights? You know, the ones with the little dial on it for 7 or 8 different light options. None at the stores I mentioned? All plain ole steady burning or flashing. I believe walgreens had some mulitfunction lights but selection is just not there. Another example is garland lights, that's Lights on strands on garland. Can't find it this year? I got it last year at lowes but didn't see it anywhere yet. Lowes traditionally has 2 sometimes 3 ailes of holiday products but at least the one in K-town on the west side doesn't. I haven't checked the one out east. Little kitchie items can't be found or were in very limited supply it places. Simple things like a flashing light pendant. I saw some at walmart but they had already been ravaged as a great number of things already had. Oh well.. Next.

Has anybody watched HouseRules on TBS friday evenings? I love it! I normally don't care for reality shows but this is more like This Old House from PBS but normal people remodeling their homes. Of course there is a prize. Their Dream home and $35,000 cash from Lowes. The premise is 3 couples (One married couple for 11 yrs, One Newlywed couple, and one long distance relationship couple) Each week they have a small competition for a Budget for the room of the week, Like this wee it was the back yard. The couple must use their budget and overhall the room and do it their self and each week there is judgement where a desinger, realitor and contruction person judge each couple's room of the week and several different areas and each week has it's own prize. It's really great. I hope to fix up my home whenever I purchase one. I like the 11yr married couple the best. Next week is the tour of their home. It'll be a recap of what they've all done so far and then the following week You the viewer will decide who the winner should be Live. I'm sure they'll re-run it after it's complete. Try to catch it if you can. Friday's at 8pm with re-air the following saturday morning at 9am.

Next up. Bellsouth DSL! Fuck You ! Well, not the service. I've always been pleased with the service. The billing on the other hand sucks my fucking ass! I've had it with them. I've moved 3 times in the past 4 years and the transfer of service has always been a hassle. This past time was actually easy. DSL was up same time phone was moved, but guess what was on my bill even though I opted for self-install.... That's right! once again the Installation fee of $199.99 !! Each time it was taken off but I had to call and gripe about it each time! Done on purpose in my opinion. Now my latest bill doesn't have this discount you are supposed to get when you have their complete choice phone plan which I have which really isn't a deal. Now I have to call and gripe about that and as soon as they say ok we'll credit your account I'll just say "you know what, nevermind I want to cancel!" Why? Cause comcast and best buy had an offer I could not refuse. First, Free cable modem after service is activated in the form of a mail-in rebate, $100 best Buy gift card, Comcast Broadband for 19.99 for first 3 months and then $42.95/month after, which is already cheaper than the discounted DSL service, and Knoxville is a test area for their 3MB Download speed! Upload isn't that great but that's a trade off. How long did this take you ask? Less than 15 minutes after I got home. Up and surfing in a matter of minutes. Really amazing. I did have one problem that was just as quickly fixed. The sign up wizard doesn't tell you if the username you pick is already assigned so I did live chat support and the friendly person assigned another username of my choice to my account and I had access instantly to my account maintenence pages. Really amazing. Another thing I really liked was that there was no 1 year contract to sign. If I remember correctly before to get their special offers you had to sign up for a year to get that special deal. Not this time. So..... Goodbye to you Bellsouth DSL!

Next... Company Christmas party is next weekend. If you remember last year they company gave away a Jaguar as part of the Big Gifts!. It's been very hush hush this year as well as bonuses so wish me luck in both respects :)

As for work I still enjoy what I do but it seems to get more stressfull by each waking moment. I need some relief and soon! Thankgiving was good cause I took a vacation day on that monday afterwords and had a 5 day weekend. Man I needed that! We have a lot a big projects to do Starting this month and January and February.

Lastly, What is the deal with the increase in Goth or Gothic material? Not one but two stores in West town mall are dedicated to Goth or alternative Apparel? Spencer Gifts even has some Goth Dolls... that's right dolls and action figures. They're actually pretty cool, but the fat bitch with the belly sticky way out and Showing cause she's wearing 3 fucking sizes too small isnt'!!!

Ok, that's about it for now.
