Let's get right into it, Sin City is a great movie. If you like Graphic Novel type comic books then this is for you. Robert Rodriguez did a great job. You could also easily tell that Tarantino had a hand in it to, just the way it flowed together with conversation and action. It was presented as 3 short stories that seemlessly tied each other together. Of course, I'd like anything with scantily clad Jessica Alba. Phew! I really like Clive Owen for some reason? He did a good job as King Arthur in last years King Arthur movie and personally I'd like to see him as the next bond.
As you know a hobby is trying these incentive sites listed above. Well one offers I had done was audible.com and at the time I didn't know I was comitted to a full year because I got a free gift. I found that out after I called to cancel about 3 months later, needless to say I was pissed and let them know that. Very rare I'm nasty to customer service peopel but I was that day. Anyway, the point is I decided instead to embrace the opportunity an expand my literary tounge. Audible.com is a audio book downlaod service and also audio magazine subcriptions. I had signed up for 1 audio book a month but have since upgraded to 2 month. It's actually a really nice service. I'm a slow reader so listening to a book is actually pretty interested for me, Heck I'm listening to one now. First one I listened to was The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy as I wanted to check it out before the movie came out. I had no idea what a wonderfull book this is. Words cannot express how spectacular it is. I will be purchasing this one so I can see the words for myself cause I do feel it makes a difference. I've downloaded a lemeny snickets one and a two part Biography about Ian Fleming, The real James Bond :) Haven't listened to them yet as they are 11 hours for a total of 22? Wow. Anyway, back to my point. I'm currently listening to the last Hitch Hiker book Salmon of Doubt and it is truly amazing. It's a collection of interviews, speechs, short stories found on Douglas Adams' (Writer of Hitch Hiker) 4 computers he had in his home. I was sad to find out that he passed away in 2001 from a heart attack at the age of 49. The book goes through a great deal of detail of his life so it's kind of a biography as well. As I'm listening I feel I've met him and I feel I've lost a friend I never knew existed. It was his vision to see through Hitch Hiker movie and Salmon of Doubt explains the many attempts to start up a movie and I wish Douglas Adams could be there to premier his movie. I really hope the movies does him justice, not the book cause movies rarely do a book justice but I mean Do Douglas Adams justice as a fine comedian and great story teller. Check out what all he's had his hand on on imdb.com and amazon.com. Search for Douglas Adams. LOL, on chance I checked out MI6 which is a Bond site and Clive Owen IS rumored to be the next bond! HA! Bond Rumor I had heard some other names mentioned like Jude law but Clive would fit the role better in my mind. Oh well, If you're interested in audible.com please e-mail me and I can help you out and you can help me out :)
