Wow... been just a little long since my last posting huh? Well, I have a ton of personal things going on that needs my attention. Yes, A beautiful wonderfull woman has entered my life if you can believe it and I've been devoting most of my time cleaning and removing crap from the apartment for her arrival. She's pretty awesome. Smart, cute, funny, everything a guy could ask for! She' coming for visit this week and staying all next week and I am SO excited about it. There is so much I would like to do with her here in knoxville but with just a week we'll probably pick the best things to do. I plan on taking her to the Tennessee Valley Fair which looks like fun and of course gotta go get the best pizza in town at Barley's. Would like to go to pigeon forge area but probably not enough time since I have to work during the day and the weekends she is here we'll be out of town to some degree.

I've been selling and selling on ebay and have had pretty good success. A couple items went for WAY more than I thought and I'm talking alot more! Just stuff that I've accumulated over the years and no point of me keeping it. Like star wars figures... they're gone along with alot of other diplay type items and so called collectibles but I still have alot to go. Bleh.

Has anyone used McKay's book, cd, dvd, game exchange before? I was trying to sell computer games and xbox games at work first and had some success but I figured it would be too much trouble to put on ebay so I decided to see what I could get for them at McKay's. I had 10 xbox games and 12 computer games. Most about a year or two old and several 3+ years old and I was offerred $157 check or $187 trading credit. I chose check and deposited that bastard quickly! That was pretty damn sweet I thought so the next week I thought I'd get rid of some books, mostly computer books. Well... I had 10+ computer books and about 5 or 6 star wars books and a book I got from a book club brand new but I had a double it. I went on Saturday morning about 11am and waited an hour for them to evaluate my books for a measly $24 !!! I was pissed this time. They don't give crap for books. What really surpised me was that they didn't take about 3-4 books and 1 was less than a year old and fairly popular computer book. This time I should've put them on ebay cause I know I could have gotten $10 a piece for some of them as I had researched putting them on ebay before hand. Anyway... bring you computer games and video games to Mckay's but not books! While I was waiting I decided to look around. I didn't really intend to buy anything but I just wanted to check stuff out. Their prices are really not worth it. Even books are expensive I though. Most used dvd's are $12+ even crappy ones. Video games for xbox and ps2 are outrageous and most computer games are scary. OH, this is funny as hell... I was trying to find if any of my games I traded in had made it to the floor yet and noticed one of my games in the computer section 007:Nightfire. They were trying to sell it for $14.95 Used!!! When you can get it NEW for $9.99 now! Some serious price gouging there. Same thing with some other items... $17 for games that you can buy new at $19. What do you think I'm going to do? Buy the new one, Duh? You can find some deals... I stumbled upon Be Cool dvd for $10.95 which is good considering it's fairly new. There was one I almost died laughing at.... Gigli DVD for over $10!!! People didn't pay $8 to see it in the theatres, what makes you think they'll pay $10? Good Gosh! For the most part I would avoid buying too much there, you're not getting that great of a deal and in some cases NO deal at all as you're paying more or close to new price. Just a bit of warning... sift through items well before deciding to buy. I haven't even talked about their cd's... Don't even bother. They had Motley Crue's Red, White and Crue album for like either $17 or $22, I can't remember exactly but I know it was more that brand new price! CD's were overpriced worse than books, games and dvd's combined. Really. $10+ for used cd's when you can get most new for about $14-17. Anyway... You can find deals there and they give good cash for games but just be carefull and research before you buy or trade.

Oh well... that's it for now. I'll try and post more than once in two months :)
