One of the most exciting playwrighting workshops in America,  This July, Kansas City hosts great writers from home and far way.  Come help us celebrate this creativity and support new artists whose strong new work gives voice to the American stage.

Twelve Playwrights come together for an Intensive Workshop with Master Playwright Arthur Kopit
 
Over the course of the three-day workshop, playwrights meet at The Writers' Place and explore their craft under the tutelage of Mr. Kopit.  
  • A prompt is sent to writers prior to the workshop
  • Actors are on-hand throughout to augment the writing process
  • All scripts will be performed script-in-hand on Saturday evening
