Not much besides the obvious to say about this song – Bernie’s counter guitar with mine is something I like a lot. Rave’s groove just sits there in the pocket and Taras works it nicely. Jimmy’s harp adds just the right touch. When I first started this record this song was the prototype of where I was looking to go – basic, straight ahead blues rock. Sort of updated Chess / Chicago Muddy Waters approach. It turned out overall a bit different but this was the foundation along with “No Love In You”, “My Baby”, and “Cockrocket”. |
