Scottsville SATURDAY Farmers Market!!! The Scottsville Chamber of Commerce (Economic Development Committee) will be hosting a new Farmers Market in Scottsville, VA, to be held on Saturdays from 8-11 a.m. beginning the first Saturday in May. Located in Dorrier Park and adjacent to the James River Bridge near the corner of Valley and Main Streets, the Scottsville Saturday Farmers Market aspires to offer not only high-quality produce, plants, crafts, and agricultural products, but also a unique venue for performers and artisans and cooking demonstrations. Throughout the summer and through October, you will find fresh food, friendly farmers, and unique items for your home, garden or gift giving, all made in or near Scottsville. We are actively seeking vendors, volunteers for special events, and people to spread the word about this exciting new market. Please join us! Going into our fourth year, we will meet the first TUESDAY of each month at 7 pm; depending upon the weather, we will meet at either Dorrier park gazebo for potluck or at the Library (in the teen section).
