The Chalet is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the "snow belt," just north of Mount Shasta City and about 20 minutes from the Ski Park.
How To Get Here From There
Mount Shasta City is right off I-5, making it an easy drive from north or south.
If You're Coming From the South:
Mount Shasta City is about 45 minutes north of Redding. To get to The Chalet at Mount Shasta, take the Abrams Lake Road exit, the first exit north of the Central Mount Shasta exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the stop sign, travel over I-5 and take the first street to the right (Summit Road). Drive down Summit Road about half a mile and take the second street on the left (Pony Trail). Turn left on Pony Trail and The Chalet will be the fourth house down on the right. There are two driveways. (The first driveway takes you right up to the door.) Pick your favorite!
If You're Coming From the North:
Mount Shasta City is a little over one hour from Ashland, Oregon and the Oregon border. To get to The Chalet at Mount Shasta, take the Abrams Lake Road exit, just north of Mount Shasta City. Turn right at the stop sign and make an immediate right onto Summit Road. Drive down Summit Road about half a mile and take the second street on the left (Pony Trail). Turn left on Pony Trail and The Chalet will be the fourth house down on the right. There are two driveways. (The first driveway takes you right up to the door.) Pick your favorite!
