Transition Times

Hello, friends.  It is assuredly spring, though it is clear that despite a spit of rain now and then, summer is really here in the Bay Area.  Warm and beautiful sunny days are easy to get used to, but I still confess a hankering for the emerald green rainy Northwest.  Call me quirky, I won't argue.

The job search appears over for a time as I have taken a job as a project manager for B___R__.com.  It looks promising and I have been assured of challenge and lack of boredom for as long as I remain.  It was rather sudden, however, from career fair to interview to start date.  I'm still getting used to the idea and what it will mean for the rest of our lives.  I'm doing lots of planning, making lists and anticipating growth as we begin the transition again to two full-time workers in the family.  Pepper will have to adjust to less attention, bedtimes will have to be stricter, my free time will have to be more concentrated and efficient.  We look forward to growing into a house, a garden, a larger family, and more skills as time goes by, though we have nothing to report on any of those fronts at the moment.

The pottery class and the movie list making continue, and Pepper continues to run with me in the mornings and be driven insane by the laser pointer in the evenings.  Life continues to be not just interesting, but a lot of fun too.  I hope the same is true for you as well.

Cheers and a good book,

Happy Easter!
Rebirth, resurrection, renewal, bright green growth on the trees, fuzzy yellow brown ducklings darting ahead of mom, bunnies, eggs, pastels and chocolate.  I'm thinking about recreating the "dyes from nature" Easter our family did once upon a time.  Anybody have any good dye suggestions besides onion skins or beets?  Let me know.
