New Look, New State, New Page, New Stuff... Relatively Same No

Ok, so I've moved lock, stock, and barrel (except the couch, which went to L's good demesne) to California.  We've uprooted Pepper from his friends, our Jane Lathrop Stanford rose from the ground, and our webpage from its previous resting place.  Like our books, however, the links seem to have multiplied in the move, and we've had to do some re-organizing to fit them all back on our shelves.
We're doing quite well here in the Eastbay, though we look back frequently with pangs for our old life, house, and friends in Seattle.
I'm writing again (thank heavens!) and using that to put the pieces of me back in some semblance.  I just don't do as well at home by myself as I think I should.  That is, I seem to get more done when short of time than with too much.  I'm working on finding a job to help solve that problem and if you have a lead or know someone to whom I should talk, let me know.
We plan to get a housewarming date set and go back to having movie nights and game nights on a regular basis.  Promptings may, however, be necessary.  Please feel free to contact me, say hi, and stay for a while if you're in the area.  We enjoy our friends less than we would like, but hope to do better.
Wishing you peace and calm for the coming holiday season,
