William "Bill" Baker is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He and his wife, Gwen, live in
Kennesaw, Georgia. Bill is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Kennesaw State University. Bill has
developed an interest in baseball in China as a result of hosting a delegation of Chinese exchange students during
the 2008-2009 school year. Bill, along with Terry Sloope and Brian Morrow, took several of the Chinese students to a
Rome Braves game in 2008 (where they retrieved a foul ball), and Bill has coached them in baseball fundamentals.
Bill's son, Martin, was an outfielder on the KSU Owls baseball team from 2007-2009. Bill also has an interest in the
