Sean Corcoran's grandfather, Tommy Corcoran, was a shortstop for Brooklyn, Cincinnati and the Giants during a 16-year NL career. He also played one season each in the Players' League and the old American Association. Sean and his wife live in Smyrna. Sean is researching the origins of the old Southern Association of the 1880s.
