Cliff Kachline is another of SABR's original founders. During the winter months, he lives in Big Canoe, Georgia with his daughter and son-in-law. Cliff joined the staff of the Sporting News when he was still a teenager during WWII and worked there for 24 years. In 1969, Cliff became the Historian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, a position he held for 13 years. In 1984, he became SABR's first full-time Executive Director. Email Cliff
