Bill "Ty" Ross is a native of Boston, but grew up in Stone
Mountain, Ga. He currently resides in northwest Georgia. He holds a BS from
Middle Tennesee State University and a MS from
Georgia Tech. Bill is a member of SABR's Statistical, Negro Leagues, and
Minor Leagues research committees, and was a contributor to the second
edition of The Negro Leagues Book. He prefers minor league ball games,
and regularly attends contests in Greenville (SC), Chattanooga and Rome (GA).
He currently serves on the chapter’s Steering Committee. |
