Bill "Ty" Ross is a native of Boston, but grew up in Stone Mountain, Ga. He currently resides in northwest Georgia. He holds a BS from Middle Tennesee State University and a MS from Georgia Tech. Bill is a member of SABR's Statistical, Negro Leagues, and Minor Leagues research committees, and was a contributor to the second edition of The Negro Leagues Book. He prefers minor league ball games, and regularly attends contests in Greenville (SC), Chattanooga and Rome (GA). Email Bill
