Arrived at the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail

Mt. Katahdin

Baxter State Park, Maine

 

Hobbit arrived at the summit of Mt. Katahdin at 11:45 in the morning.  She and 28 other thru-hikers had lunch on the top of the mountain and just enjoyed being there for a while.  The weather was beautiful.  She has completed the entire Appalachian Trail and is officially a "thru-hiker".  A life-long dream has been fulfilled.
