Some Good Railroad Stories Anthologies

The books listed below, with their contents, comprise a relatively easy to find, and inexpensive, basic library of Railroad Stories. While most of the stories are by North American authors, there are a fair number by British and European authors. Exploring one or more of these volumes is a good way to find authors that you particularly enjoy. The larger lists of books can then identify books for your shopping list.
