| David Crockett Fire Station - Gretna, LA |
Ralph Arabie, 30-year Veteran of
Gretna's Davey Crockett Fire Station, tragically lost September 29, 2008.
Ralph was
a dedicated 30-year veteran of public service; a Firefighter/Operator with Crockett in Gretna, Fire Prevention Supervisor
for the Gretna Fire Board and Gretna Police Officer. He conducted fire prevention classes for children and
the elderly, and received a Medal of Valor from Fire Chief Bobby Black for outstanding service given to the City of Gretna
during Hurricane Katrina. Ralph made a lifelong impression on everyone around him and will forever remain in our hearts.
Our thoughts and
prayers are with the Arabie the family, friends and fellow firefighters, that they will find the strength to bear the weight
of thier loss, and that they will find some consolation with the support of their family and friends during this difficult
time.
