This is Joseph Edward Fingleman's draft registration card. Joe was tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown
eyes. He lived in Liberty, and had a wife and child dependent on him for support, for which reason he claimed an exemption
from the draft.
This card was completed in phase one of the World War I Civilian Draft Registration, on June 5, 1917. It shows
that Joe was born in Refugio, and that his father was born in Germany.
