William Jefferson Finkelman was the son of Louis Finkelman and Marguerite Hobbs, and was born on January 7, 1880.  On September 12, 1918 he signed this draft registration card in Houston.  He was of medium height and build, with brown eyes and black hair.  He listed his nearest relative as his second wife, Willie Mae Wright Finkelman.  William's first wife, Emma Bella Manwell, died in 1906.
