Holiday Party & Gift "Stealing"

On December 10, we met at Jim & Gael McCollum's house for our holiday party, featuring great food, friendship, car-theme gifts, and a fun gift "stealing" game.

The festivities - preceded by photo sessions of cars for members wanting to get onto the website - were, as usual, laden with great food and fun.

The gifts were excellent, with several - including an antique-style gas pump, a "tire" wall clock, a wood-carved 30's car, and a British telephone booth - being stolen over and over...

Jim Phelps and Fred Stanio made good Santa's, getting in the middle of the action... even helping unwrap presents, at times.

"King" Jim Phelps was re-elected, of course, for his "President for Life" position. His hand-made crown was a hit with everybody but him.

Kruzin' for Kids Christmas Poker Rally

On December 4, we dropped off gift bags for "Kids in Transition" then dashed from location to location trying to get a winning poker hand.

With lots of confusion, wrong turns, lost couples, and general disorder, we had a great time... and helped lots of kids.

We met at the Kids in Transition office, then dashed to such locations as H&R Block, American Java, to Scoopers for lunch, and then to Summit Racing for the poker play and some car photo sessions.

Getting lost was half the fun for some of us; good conversation and, as usual, good food was there for everybody.
