Here’s my version of the aileron cable fairlead assembly. I decided to forego the use of bolts, nuts and Adel clamps. I found that the fairlead would slip comfortably into 7/8 x .058 alum tubing. The hole in the .032 aluminum plate will let the fairlead body pass through but capture the fairlead flange. The spring clip will then capture the tubing on the other end.
