Chris Silver, a fellow Confederate Bearhawker in Pooler, GA, came to visit me and took this picture of my first wing under construction. We missed Richard Ogletree because he was grounded by wildfire smoke. You can see above I’m working in the false spar/tank area. The blue painter’s tape holds notes for me so I don’t forget to do something later on. I’ll put up some pictures of things I’ve done differently from others I have seen. I’m not sure my ideas are any better so I’ll leave that up to you to decide. I reckon I should add the disclaimer not to copy me unless you know what you are doing, because I’m not so sure that I know what I’m doing sometimes! When doing modifications I’ve adopted the Hippocratic approach: “First, do no harm.”
