There are times everyone needs to look at their life and try to figure out - What am I doing? How do I do it better? A good Writing Coach can help you by taking an objective look at how you set up your life, use your time, and approach the process of writing. I will make suggestions on how to order and structure your life so that you can make efficient use of the time you have available to write. To use a phrase from Flannery O'Connor, I can help you set up a 'habit of being' that will allow you to be the best writer you are capable of becoming.

In addition, I can offer specific advice on how and where to publish, agents, marketing, etc. I will work with you to write query letters and design a plan for maximizing your publishing opportunities. I will help you design a marketing strategy that is specific to the book you are writing. I cannot guarantee you will publish your book or, if you do, make it onto Oprah's list. No one can do that. Anyone who claims otherwise is not telling you the truth.

I charge $50 per hour to be your Writing Coach. We can meet in person, talk by phone, or work through email.

There is an initial 2 hour minimum commitment for Writing Coach work. We can set up the coaching so that we actually work in blocks of time that range from 30 minutes to 4 hours.
