I had the pleasure of driving Hot Shot before he moved to Colorado. I wanted to know just what Nova had the possiblity
to become, so I asked my friend Donna if I could drive Hot Shot once. Now Hot Shot hadn't been driven in a long while,
but he took his harness and cart and we pranced on down the street. It was like he never missed a beat, and the pride
that he had in doing his job. I have come to understand his get, because of this opportunity.
He was a great great horse. He has many many wins in the show ring, to many that I don't know them all. He
always lighted up the show ring, and gave the judges something to look at. He threw his attitude and his pride in his
job onto his foals. I have had the pleasure in training 5 or 6 of his foals, and they all have him inside them.
They are very proud horses at their jobs. They will give you 110% all of the time. His foals are out in the show
ring today, living his legacy out for him. They are in all events, each one has their own ones but they excel at anything
asked of them. JJ Hot Shot was taken from us way to early, but we know he is running free in the pastures of Heavan.
He has his own mares up there, and his legacy lives on. We miss you dearly Hot Shot. May your kids down here make
you proud. Thanks for the drive that you gave me, I understand your kids much better now.
