The Bush administration is now saying it never told the public that Iraq was
an "imminent" threat, and therefore it should be absolved for overstating the case for war and misleading the American people
about Iraq's WMD.
As usual, George W. Bush has that horrible combination of afflictions, verbal diarrhea compounded by
acute selective amnesia.
(That, PLUS he still has "mad cowboy disease")
Bush only does this kind of shit because he knows that most of the Republicans
will "have his back!" They'll go right out and evangelize these new lies, just like they did the originals!
Like yesterday, for example, on CNN's "Crossfire" - Bob Novak actually said "Do the Democrats really think they can win the White House by apologizing for getting
rid of Saddam Hussein, on top of promising to raise everyone's taxes? It's a no-brainer."
This statement just PROVES what I've suspected all along: Bob Novak really
IS a fucking idiot - HE's the "no-brainer" and ever
since Bush took office, Robert Novak has become nothing more than A
TOOL for the Bushpublican Party to use for doing the worst of their shit-work - the really nasty stuff that even puke-maggots like Karl Rove are embarrassed to admit to doing in public.
The NEXT STEP for the Bush White House will be to claim that
poor little Dubya only INHERITED this Iraq mess from the Clinton administration! They'll just
have Bob Novak and their GOP-owned minions over at the Fox News Network (well-known to REAL journalist
from all around the world as "the axis of weasels") report that it was REALLY President
Clinton who actually invaded Iraq - and it happened long before George W. Bush ever took office. When FOX News reports [and repeats] that kind of lie - 25-40 times a day, for two or
three weeks straight - then it eventually just BECOMES "the truth" for
the overwhelming majority of the people in THEIR viewing audience. Listen to C-SPAN's "Washington Journal"
callers in the mornings, that small majority of the American people who STILL BELIEVE
that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the 9-11 terrorist attacks - are both Republicans AND
FOX News viewers. The more intelligent Republicans, who get at least SOME of their
news from other, more reliable sources, have long ago been relieved of that piece of Bush White House propaganda.
So, there's actually TWO totally different species
of Republicans now, and they DON'T interbreed either! That's why you won't
EVER hear SMART Republicans like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rudy Giuliani or John McCain trying to make their own party less intelligent
by feeding them such obvious lies, spin and myths - and you won't EVER hear STUPID Republicans like Bush, Cheney, Jerry Fallwell, Pat Robertson, Tom Delay, Rush Limbaugh or the FOX News shit-heads trying to make
their party more intelligent by telling them THE TRUTH.
I wonder which species of Republican Party will eventually survive to dominate and enslave the other.
If Charles Darwin's thesis on "Natural Selection" was RIGHT, (and it WAS, by the way) then it probably won't
be "the Bushies". Of course, in REALITY, there's really nothing at all "natural" about the way we humans
make our political "selections", so that model/metaphore drawn from nature just might not hold-up very
well in this case.
If I were a Republican, I think I'd be getting SERIOUSLY PISSED-OFF! The
regular, everyday, working people, the GOP's common, NON-MILLIONAIRE, rank-and-file party loyalists - those "faith-based"
people who have always been so very trusting of George W. Bush - they're being
HORRIBLY and INTENTIONALLY used, abused, mislead,
propagandized and BRAINWASHED into innocently going out among us people who KNOW
BETTER and mindlessly repeating another HUGE PACK OF BUSH'S LIES, just to give him political cover
for his pre-war bullshit, to skew the results of the public opinion polls with dumbed-down people - and all of this lying is
only being done to better serve George W. Bush's re-election needs. It's already beginning to turn the
Republican Party into a laughing stock - and that SHOULD make some conservatives and long-time supporters
of the GOP as mad as hell.
This isn't just some goofy-ass sex lie, this shit WILL
go down in ALL of the history text books that will be used in schools and universities all over the world
for AT LEAST the next 200-300 years! The Republicans should be getting just a little concerned about how their own people are being used and painted as a bunch of dupes and fools
- on a daily basis - and on such a massive (GLOBAL!) scale.
To be TRICKED into voting for a con man is ONE THING, but
to KEEP-ON following him and backing-up his lies - EVEN AFTER YOU
KNOW that he's been running a con game on you, well, that's something altogether different.
That's the kind of behavior exhibited by the people who not only drank
the Kool-Aid at Jonestown
but who went back for REFILLS.
