It's
long past time for some serious, hard-core TRUTH-TELLING !
I'm a "reluctant red-state resident". Someone who
KNOWS where the bodies are buried! I have an intimate understanding of the problems here in middle-America
- I know why these people voted for George W. Bush - before the election, I predicted that
Bush would probably win in this part of the country - I understand the minds of these ignorant natives - because
I LIVE HERE! [unfortunately]
I'm honestly ashamed to admit it, but a
couple of these weak-minded Bush-supporters are blood relatives, actual, DNA-sharing, genetically-similar members of
my own immediate family.
I've got nothing to lose now, none of us do, it's
all over. Almost no one sees the pattern in the dominoes that are all set to fall, but it's quite clear to those of us
who bother to pay attention, that the nation is in a death-spiral at this point, we're just biding our time, wasting-away
on life-support. I can't save anything of value here - but I can ring the warning bells and sound the
alarms so as to keep this same thing from happening elsewhere. So - I'm going to sing like a canary.
There probably should be some
kind of a witness relocation program for people like me, but there isn't, so I'm just going to tell the truth and let the
chips fall where they may.
...however...
If someone out there wants to help me escape from this
right-wing version of Hee-Haw Hell known as "Jesusland", I'm ready to relocate RIGHT NOW! Just
drop me a line at THIS LINK and throw me a life-line. I'll take almost any kind of a job - in any blue-state,
I'll consider any and all marraige proposals [from either sex!] or any
other kind of arrangement that will help me in getting a visa to live in Canada or Mexico or Belize...

rational, blue-state outsiders want to ask me is innevitably
"WTF?!"

These red-state ass hats are some
horribly, HORRIBLY IGNORANT sumbitches! They're not just UNinformed
- [like the rest of the Republicans and conservatives in America]
- down here in Jesusland, they're willfully, stubbornly and intentionally
MISinformed!
This IS NOT an accident.
The institutionalized ignorance found so-abundantly here in these red-states is the end-product of
a PROGRAM SPECIFICALLY-DESIGNED to RESULT in this kind of backwards-ass
voter population. Here in Jesusland, they often refer to Rush Limbaugh's right-wing radio program as "the
news". The churches are the main source of social inter-action and the majority of the so-called "Christian"
ministers down here are preaching the supply-side, free-trade, corporate-friendly gospel according to Karl Rove, so these
red-state Bush-supporters SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that there REALLY IS a "liberal bias" in
the media!
They're quite-literally the
only people left - anywhere on the entire planet - who don't get that joke about FOX News being
"fair and balanced"! They take it SERIOUSLY.
Yes. It's honestly THAT BAD.
In Oklahoma, less than one-person-in-fifty
actually reads any books! - yet they seriously believe that "intellectual elitists"
are more of a problem in this country than their own immeasurable illiteracy! They honestly believe
that they know more than the rest of us, because THEY CHOOSE to ignore all of the REAL
information that might contradict their myths or point-out their ignorance! Trying to reason with them is so intensely
frustrating that it's all but out of the question at this point. These mindless right-wing assholes constantly
have that infuriating smirk plastered permanantly on their faces - because they actually believe that THEY
know what's going on and that anyone differing with them is stupid! In other words, they're JUST EXACTLY LIKE GEORGE
W. BUSH!
Equal parts: ignorance, arrogance and
obstinance - it's a very deadly mixture.
In a way, it's almost sad
how intellectually retarded they've made themselves. The biggest crisis that these red-state people face
in the immediate future is their complete inability to be useful to ANYONE. They're far too stupid
to be trained to do any kind of valuable task and they're simply too unpleasant, too stubborn and too arrogant to make
good pets.
On the positive side, the multiple generations of inbreeding has
given their DNA a certain "generic quality" that might actually make them a bit more suitable as organ donors. They'd also
make good replacements for the innocent animals that we've been using for medical experiments and product safety testing.
Other than that, these people are truly hopeless and worthless.
This nation (this planet) WILL
NOT be able to move forward as long as these people have any say in our future. They
simply ABHOR progress - in all it's forms. Other than material possessions, power and money, they cherish
absolutely nothing - they often know the price of everything and the value of nothing. They wish to bring down all publicly
responsible institutions and they wish to preserve nothing except for their own "intellectual neutral zone" - free
from all forms of information relating to known reality. They openly favor the utter and total decimation of all of our
nation's "common wealth" in favor of 'privatizing' it and hoarding it up to increase their own piece of "private
wealth". They've absolutely no qualms whatsoever about what kind of world they'll be leaving for the future - even for
their own children. To these red-state republicans, the more pollution and the more corruption, the more decimation and the
more graft, the more they like it.
