Most of the income at Rough Creek still comes from our Integrated Forest Management (IFM) of the non-pasture lands. IFM is
a collection of techniques we have developed over years of trial and error and experimentation aimed at deriving a diversified
and sustainable income stream from a mixed forest ecosystem. Rather than clear cut and monoculture, IFM attempts to harvest
numerous resources in a selct cut and harvest system that takes advantage of the natural abundance of Kentucky's complex forests.
