The "desensitizing" techniques used to train soldiers are now found in mass media; films, television, and video arcades. We are being influenced without being fully aware of what's going on!

Our best efforts as parents cannot protect children from violence. The media and capitalist culture as a whole provides us with a daily overwhelming diet of aggression. It is not a pretty picture.
