steph's 1998 Northern Rockies Trip

In May and June 1998 my friends, Mark, Subrata, Scott, and I took a
nearly-three week trip driving, camping and hiking in the northern
Rockies. For this trip we did a lot of driving. We did stay
three nights in Yellowstone (how can you not) and a couple of nights
at a couple of other locations, but mostly we pulled up stakes every
morning and headed off to the next set of sights.
This could be called the Trip of Bones and Caves. Steph kept spotting skeletal remains on almost every trail we hiked (creeping Subrata out in the process) and, of course, we visited Dinosaur National Monument. There were also caves galore! There were caves in Craters of the Moon. There were named caves in South Dakota, Utah, and Nevada. Of course, there was scenery galore and there were many sights. The vast majority of the photos (images) are my own, taken with your basic point-zoom-shoot 35mm camera, printed and scanned. A couple of the photos are from Mark or Subrata. Also included are a few scans of picture post cards that I bought and mailed along the way in which I regaled the recipients with tales of our travels. I'm probably voilating all sorts of copyright law. *sigh* At least I point out that they are postcards!
