Travel Adventures into New Mexico Enchantment tour has something for everyone! The beauty of the land and the blend of cultures are combined with a rich artistic legacy and exciting year round cultural events, making New Mexico a unique domestic location.

Private tours of Pueblos and ancient Anazasi ruins, art museums and galleries, artists studios and receptions in private homes of collector’s are arranged to capture the off-the-beaten path flavor of this colorful place.

New Mexico has been a haven of creativity to since the mid 1850’s. The adobe architecture, the Spanish and native american people, the richness of natural subject matter, the mesas, the towering mountains and the clear air that creates brilliant interplays of color during the day and pastel sunsets at night, all serve as inspiration and reflect the unique atmosphere of New Mexico’s northern territories.

In Santa Fe, we visit the new Georgia O'Keeffe museum housing the permanent collection of O’Keeffe’s artwork between 1914 and 1982 (including oils, watercolors, drawings, pastels and sculptures.) Opened in the summer of 1997, it is the first art museum devoted to a woman artist in the United States and houses the world’s largest collection of her work.

We drive to Ghost Ranch with 21,000 acres of trails and cliffs where Georgia O’Keeffe was inspired by the extraordinary landscapes and remarkable range of light. Just as O’Keeffe began her explorations of the area in 1917, we will follow her footsteps this on stunning landscape, followed with a group picnic lunch and lecture of O'Keeffe's life and work. This is where many of her best known works were inspired by the surrounding views.

Accomodations all combine southwesthern architecture and decor with historic charm and confort.

Summer Art and Opera Tour

Summer is a glorious time time in New Mexico with desert wildflowers in bloom and a variety of special summer art events occuring in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos.

For those who wish, there is an evening planned at the internationally acclaimed Santa Fe Opera. The newly remodeled opera has English titles at every seat. We partake of a private morning backstage tour of the opera. We then attend an evening pre-tour lecture and a champagne and buffet dinner at sunset set on the opera grounds, followed by the opera.
