Tour Price: $1,895.00

Base price per person includes:

1. Hotel - for 9 nights/10 days based on double occupancy.

2.Transportation - Passanger vehicle (includes bus, gas, driver, insurance), airport transfer on last day from hotel to airport.

3. Fees - Entrance fees, site fees and docent lectures.

4. Food - Welcoming reception, Full breakfast (daily), lunches (daily) and farewell reception, receptions at galleries and private homes.

NOT INCLUDED - Airfare, transfer from airport to hotel on first day (approx. $2), some evening meals, gratuity for tour leaders, personal insurance and other items of a personal nature.

Single supplement available - $295 per person.

  • Explore Oaxaca and its range of traditions and depth of culture of it's Hispanic and indigenous peoples.
  • Visit Pre-Columbian archaeological sites and ruins led by professors and archaeologists.

Springtime Festival in Oaxaca

Experience the tradition and culture of Oaxaca during their springtime, when the flowers are coming into bloom. The brilliant blue sky, sunshine and 80 degree temperature is such a marvelous respite from winter!

JULY

Guelaguetza

Guelaguetza, celebrated annually during the last two weeks of July, is a unique series of events held at Cerro del Fortin, an amphitheatre which offers magnificent views of the entire city of Oaxaca's rich culture---dancing! Groups from seven regions of the valley of Oaxaca present chosen dances with local characteristics and regional dress at this festival.

LATE OCTOBER EARLY NOVEMBER

Day of the Dead Celebration


The Day of the Dead Celebration is one of mystery and magic and is a unique Mexican holiday where the living honor their ancestors. No where does it unfold with more ceremony, diversity and flair than in the city of Oaxaca and the surrounding villages. We will participate in the three day fiestas of parades, street markets, fireworks and candlelight processions at the cemeteries.
