Men are dogs. I know this to be true because this man is the exception that proves the rule. Okay, I'm biased, but what the heck, I'm allowed! Here's what he says about himself:

September 17th 1962 in Lancaster, CA, my birth mother died when I was nine months old and I took a five day trip to Chicago and surrounds with my older brother and sister while dad settled the arrangements. I returned to Lancaster and my father remarried when I was three. I remained in Lancaster, except for periodic vacations to Oregon and Utah, visiting the step-brother I acquired when my father remarried. I also acquired a little sister shortly thereafter. I played ice hockey and football in local youth leagues along the way.

Graduation from high school sent me to Orange County and the University of California at Irvine. I spent five years there earning Bachelors degrees in chemistry and English; not the most common combination. After graduation I circulated among a series of computer and other high technology companies, coming to "rest" most recently at ALR (now Gateway Computers).

Girlfriends were a way of life from jr. high through most of my college career. Then came a loooooonnnng dry spell. One false start after that and then I discovered my lifemate. Kinda embarrassing actually as I had known her for four or five years by then. We met on a BBS, she wasn't dating, so I shelved my interest and we became good friends. Then another friend told me that Vicki liked me.

| Southern Renaissance Faire, the kissing bridge and the rest is history. Well, living history. One awesome wedding later and here we are, right smack-dab in the middle of the story. I'm now a husband and father (Father to a precocious teenager.) I'll let ya know how the story comes out, just as soon as I get to the end of it.
