Why do it again?

Six years after the original deed was done, we noticed that our anniversary would be on the same day as an Esperance event - same as the first time (Esperance is part of Adria, the historical recreation group we belong to). So what better impetus to renew our vows? We decided to have fun with it about 11 pm Thursday night before the Saturday event. We came up with a short (hurrah!) ceremony, and just went for it. It turned out to be a wonderful, emotional, playful, and joyous occasion.
