The Bride's Crown

Traditionally, the bride would have a garland made of rosemary (remembrance) and roses (passion). She would carry it until the ceremony, then switch it to her head. I did that. About 9 pm Friday night before the wedding, I went out into the garden and clipped the blooms I had. Ginger brought down rosemary, bay and lavendar from her garden. I added my miniature roses, sweet pea, hummingbird bush, sweet marjoram, ivy, and whatever else was out there.
