I took this picture from my motel balcony. I saw the sun illuminating the mesa opposite us and went out to take the picture and then, there it was, this beautiful rainbow! I don't think I have ever seen one dip in front of a landscape before.
Sedona is breathtakingly beautiful. It is a place of power. It is also, like things powerful and beautiful, gaspingly expensive.
We took a jeep tour out to see some Indian Ruins. We shopped. We stood in line at restaurants.

Those who know me know I love squirrels.
We saw this cutie on the trail in Zion. His cheek pouches are filled with goodies - but not from us!
His coat is a mottled grey, and he is smaller than our greys back home. No ear tufts, so he's not a Kaibab Squirrel, which abound in this area.
