This is Bear, my neighbor's cat. He is also a great friend of mine. When he hears my voice, he comes running out, his raspy voice greeting me and he sits on my lap with the ownership paw claiming my chest.

Larry is away this week, on an installation in Louisiana, and my neighbor is taking good care of me. She has me over for tea in the afternoon, and I come home with a doggie bag for supper. A doggie bag containing very excellent people food, for Jan is a superb cook and loves an appreciative eater.
