01Windshield

A great many aircraft, and the models based on those aircraft, have intersecting curved surfaces such as the intersection of the windscreen and the fuselage on this L-4. If the plan does not provide a cutting template for the windscreen, or does not adequately identify the windscreen location on the fuselage, the model builder is left to his own devices to determine where the windscreen material should be cut and where the finished windscreen will mate with the fuselage.

The problem is that the plans are 2-dimension views of the finished 3-dimension airframe. Hang onto that concept : the plans are just views of the finished object.
