| In this instance, the 2-D profile was traced from a side view of the area where the windscreen and
fuselage intersect. Enough of the plan was traced to provide reference lines to the fuselage,
so the profile could be mounted on the fuselage in the correct location as shown in the plan.
The profile includes a line representing the top of the instrument panel, and the bottom of the
profile is cut along a line which coincides with the bottom of the cabin side windows. The point where the
curved line ends at the bottom of the profile coincides with the intersection of the windscreen side
post and the line along the bottom of the side windows. Hard to explain, but it's obvious when seen on the fuselage.
