| The marking process has continued by incrementing the fuselage across the path of the laser's dot and
marking the projection on the paper on the fuselage. In this photo the 3-D line is approaching infinity, i.e.
just grazing across the top dead center spot the fuselage. Raising the laser any farther will cause the dot to
be projected off into space that is not part of our model.
If you look at the point where the edge of the laser dot contacts the profile, you may be able to see that the
laser dot is at the end of the profile's fuselage/windscreen line - which IS the top dead center point on
the fuselage.
Now, all of this could have been described in the calculus of tangents to a plane in space (EEE-yuk !!!) but
pretty pictures are a lot more fun.
