BACK TO TOM T CREATIONS?

Here are useful and practical math problems that will really test the reading and mathematical reasoning skills of your child
and perhaps even yourself. I would recommend doing as many of these problems as necessary until the student is fluent in
the reasoning skills required to succeed.
I have included several tests at this point so your student has plenty to practice. Make sure your student can make an equation
to solve each problem. It is important that your student can show you how they solve the problem. I like to base my math
problems on real life situations so these problems are useful practice for anyone not just sixth graders in Mr. T's class.
MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENT CAN READ THE PROBLEM AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ASKING THEM TO DO. THIS IS OF CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE.
IN ADDITION, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO FORM AN EQUATION THAT WILL GIVE THEM THE CORRECT ANSWER WHEN SOLVED.
Beginning with Practice Test No. 2, I will also include the solution to each problem along with the answers. This way you
can show your child how to do the problem if you forgot how to do the problem yourself. I also give the recommended solution.
There are many ways to solve a problem, but I hope I give the easiest and most straight forward solution possible.

Can your student do these tests? Keep practicing until they get at least a 70% or better on every test.
