BRUISER & the BIRDS - Given away by rescuers
Bruiser is a young male Silky Terrier Mix.  He & the birds was taken from his home on Vincennes St., New Orleans on 9/11/05 by a K9 RESCUE TEAM from Plano, TX.  The pictures shows him being held by one of his rescuers, CHANTE S.

The birds were given to someone on the street in New Orleans who claimed to work at a zoo.  Bruiser was taken back to Plano, TX by Chante then given to someone named GERRI P. in Polok, TX.  Finally, in late September, 2005, Bruiser was given to someone named DELORIS who lived in Alto, TX.  Bruiser's family is very worried about him as he is a little guy who likes to 'boss' around all his dog buddies.

TAZ - Rescued/Lost In System
Taz is 5-6 year old uneutered male Pom.  He’s sable in color but the tip of the hair on his backs are black.  Taz was evacuated with his family from the roof of their home on Frenchmen St., New Orleans 70117 three days after the levees broke.  The last time anyone saw Taz is when they were ordered to put him in a Fish & Wildlife boat at the Elysian Fields/Galvez/I-10 Bridge with all the other animals belonging to evacuees.  In 8/06, Taz' owner received a series of cryptic e-mails from "TRACY McFADDEN" who told her Taz had been adopted by a family in Rhode Island in 9/05.  No record of Taz' rescue has ever been.

Muffie - Rescued/Lost in CA

Muffie is Female Long-Hair Calico; 3+years old; right eye is cloudy, distorted from previous surgery.  At time of rescue, she was wearing a black leather collar with Rabies Tag.

Muffie was rescued on 9/05 from her home on N. Roman St., New Orleans, LA 70117 & taken to a makeshift shelter in St. Bernard, LA called "Camp Lucky".  On 9/28/05, Muffie was transported to Desert Springs, CA but never arrived at the airprort like all the other animals on that transport.  It is believed that Muffie was immediately adopted upon arrival at the airport.  Her family in New Orleans miss her dearly & would like to know that she's safe in CA.

Not neutered, wearing red collar with two Carrollton Vet Shot Tags # 200400556 and possibly #2003505. Tiger was removed from 5310 Laurel St, New Orleans 70115. Black painted letters on house stating Dog Rescued 9/12/05. Has short 2 inch stub tail, black coloring on back, brown face and legs, ears for the most part erect, some gray around muzzle.
