After 20 months of surviving on the street, Tiger, a neutered front declawed male cat, is home!  This little guy escaped from his house as family was trying to evacuate.  Though he's been seen in the neighborhood, he never stayed long enough to be trapped.  His family had all but given up hope of finding Tiger until a local St. Bernard Parish resident found him lying near death in some bushes a mile from his home.  She made a point of getting help in looking for his owner as she herself is still looking for her own cats also lost in Katrina.  Because of Jessica's determination & the incredible memory of a volunteer who remembered someone looking for just a cat, Tiger and his family, the LaHoste's from Mereaux, saw each other again on 3/2/07 for what was a joyful reunion!  Welcome Home Tiger!

Bear is home with the Donatto family after 17 months!  He said goodbye to the folks at the Animal Rescue Funds of the Hamptons, NY on 3/1/07.  We hear he is once again 'patrolling' his neighborhood; saying hi to his old buddies & keeping the new guys in line!  Welcome home Bear!

Rocket is finally home with his family!  Nobody can figure out how Rocket made it to spot of high ground 2 miles below his flooded Lakeview home!   Still wearing his collar & tags, he moved from Lamar Dixon to Monroe to Pennsylvania.

Junior made it home to the Cheneaus all the way from Dr. Dietz' in Virginia in 2/07!

Jack not only made it home but he got to be interviewed by Robin Roberts on Good Morning America! Here he is with Robin, Miss Althea, and Mindy, our KART member.  Jack lost 30 lbs. before being rescued & was lovingly brought back to health by his fosters Tariq & Dana Shamma in WV (Monroe Animal League, Union, WV).
