Eddie's Motorcycle Page

The picture above is of my Dad on his WLA-45 Harley-Davidson
along with his friend Billy Butler.
Together, they rode to Florida to the Daytona races
immediately following World War II.
His motorcycle adventure stories inspired me.
I have to set out to experience my own.
Thank you, Dad.
I love you very much!

" He's Only happy when he's riding.
There's a peace he finds as the road unwinds.
The wind in his helmet roars the troubled thoughts in his head away.
Too many memories are like storm clouds in his mind.
The miles aren't enough sometimes...
He rides anyway.
But, every once in a while he makes it to a point
where he's without worry or pain.
Just him, a bike and a two-lane highway.
Going back to when it was simple again."
