Image Magazine
This series is from an article which appeared in the October 1989 issue of Image Magazine. We got the cover photo plus 3 or 4 pages covering a kitchen in the Seacliff district of San Francisco. The project combined several small rooms into a grand workspace and family entertainment area. The designer’s focus was to create an environment of striking richness, with elegant subdued finishes and controlled lighting. We reconfigured the space, added a view window and installed custom maple cabinets and trims, complimented by granite tile, etched glass and very carefully chosen colors and treated surfaces.

Ten Houses (Ace Architecs)
This series highlights many vantages of a highly stylized and carefully crafted city retreat by Ace Architects of Oakland, California. Several featured photos revolve around the core spiral stairway which connects the home’s three levels: These levels include a lower guest unit and office, tucked into a very small profile, a main floor, with spacious master bedroom and bath, hall gallery and kitchen. The third (loft) level, is comprised of a single raftered room with cantilevered balcony, recycled old growth fir exposed rafters, hydronic heat, and dining area, all backlit by modern stained glass.
