HOW DOES CHORUS CASH WORK? – It works because each vendor gives us a certain stated percentage of the sales. Each percentage is listed on the website. We use a national gift card distributor (United Scrip) to place your order. They send the cards, and WHS chorus and YOUR STUDENT get to keep the profit. EASY, “FREE” MONEY!

A unique feature of our Chorus Cash fundraiser provides all participating chorus students with the opportunity to earn profits from their Scrip orders. These funds will be saved in an individual Chorus Student Account for their future chorus expenses such as uniforms, registration fees for honor chorus and All-State, and travel expenses for future chorus trips. 

Chorus Student Accounts will be maintained through the choral department as long as your child remains in chorus.  When your child leaves chorus (due to schedule changes, or after graduation) the remaining balance will either be transferred to the account of another family member or friend currently enrolled in chorus or into the chorus general fund.  Alternately, if your student leaving chorus has a younger sibling in middle school who is confident of enrolling in the WHS chorus program, parents may elect to make a written request (by filling out the appropriate transfer form) to hold those funds for the younger student.  In no case will the funds be held for more than three (3) years from the date of request.  If the funds are not used or applied to the younger sibling at the end of that term, the funds will be automatically transferred to the chorus general fund. ATTENTION PARENTS OF SENIORS: If the appropriate forms are not filed to hold or transfer funds upon graduation, the funds will automatically be transferred into the chorus general fund.
